Share This > This must be one of the shortest commercial flights ever. People actually pay to get on a flight that lasts just over one minute, to fly 1 mile from one Indonesian village to another. Why you may ask. Well, because there is a deep valley between the two villages, and aircraft make this the ideal transport of transportation. The short and thrilling ride is from Kegata to Apowo, flown by bush pilot Matt Dearden, who flies the 10 seat Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter in extremely challenging conditions, taking off and landing on mountain sides within deep valleys.
